Amos Dairies Uganda Limited, also Amos Dairies, is a dairy processing company in Uganda.[1]

Location

The head office and factory of Amos Dairies Uganda Limited are located in the neighborhood called Akageti,[2] in Kiruhura District, in Uganda's Western Region, approximately 265 kilometres (165 mi), by road, southwest of Kampala, the capital and largest city in that country.[3]

Overview

The factory, which took approximately 18 months to construct, cost about US$22 million (about UShs55.8 billion). Beginning with capacity of 400,000 liters per day, expectation is for that to be gradually increased to 2 million liters daily. Most of the products that this factory puts out are exported to various regions of he world, including the United States of America.[4]

Amos Dairies Uganda Limited, is a subsidiary of Amos Dairies Limited, a diary processing company, based in Ludhiana, Punjab State,[5] Under development
