The Apostolic Vicariate of San Jose in Mindoro is a Latin Catholic missionary pre-diocesan jurisdiction on the western part of Mindoro island in the Philippines.

It is exempt, i.e. directly subject to the Holy See (notably the Roman Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples), not part of any ecclesiastical province, yet states to be suffragan of the Archdiocese of Lipa.

Its cathedral episcopal see in a St. Joseph the Worker Cathedral, in San Jose, Occidental Mindoro, Mimaropa.

History

Established on 1983.01.27 as Apostolic Vicariate of San Jose in Mindoro on territory split off from the Apostolic Vicariate of Calapan.
