Manga

The manga, written and illustrated by matoba, began serialization in the August 2015 issue of Square Enix's shōnen manga magazine Monthly Shōnen Gangan on July 10, 2015.[8] English manga publisher Yen Press announced their license to the series during their panel at Sakura-Con on April 15, 2017.[9]

Anime

An anime television series adaptation was announced in the May 2018 issue of Monthly Shōnen Gangan on April 12, 2018.[1] The series will be directed by Minato Kazuto and written by Yoriko Tomita, with animation by studio Liden Films. Etsuko Sumimoto is providing the character designs, while Satoshi Motoyama is the sound director. Kanon Wakeshima and naotyu- are composing the series' music.[2] The series premiered in October 11, 2018 on ABC and other channels.[2][7][a] The opening theme is "Pink Lemonade," performed by Sangatsu no Phantasia,[22] while the ending theme is a character song titled "Akuma de Koiwazurai" (あくまで恋煩い, Stubbornly Lovesick) and performed by Saori Ōnishi, Misaki Kuno, and Ai Kakuma.[5] Crunchyroll streams the series and it will run for 12 episodes.[23]
