Synopsis

Ren Guang Xi (Vanness Wu), a cocky law student, seems to lead the perfect life. He’s the sole successor to a huge and famous business and a talented ice hockey player with good looks and charisma to boot. But in reality, his lonely life lacks joy, laughter and motivation. That is until he meets Liang Mu Cheng (Ady An), the new bento seller at his school canteen. Although orphaned at a young age, Mu Cheng does not let her past affect her and lives life with great passion and determination. A harmless bet brings the two together and Guang Xi slowly changes as Mu Cheng teaches him how to give and love. Problem arises when Guang Xi's mother does not agree to their relationship and forces an arranged marriage on Guang Xi with He Yi Qian (Tiffany Hsu). Tragedy strikes when Guang Xi suddenly has to go through a major brain surgery, that had a high chance of him waking up with no memory of his past at all. His mother orders Mu Cheng to leave him and the latter has no choice but to do so. Later she learns that she already has Guang Xi’s child.

Six years pass. Mu Cheng lives a quiet life with her young son in the countryside while Guang Xi is now a successful lawyer with no memory of his past and is engaged to He Yi Qian, now a doctor, who took care of him after his surgery. Guang Xi has took on a case where he defends his client of rape charges. After winning the case, hearing his client speaking like a jerk about the plaintiff (the victim of the rape), he had a flashback. Six years ago, Mu Cheng was sexually harassed by her step father and things were taken to the Truth Investigation Court within his school. The flashback was a scene when Mu Cheng's stepfather said a similar sentence to his client, "I raised her up, provide her with all her needs. It's only reasonable that I get some 'benefits' from her." Unable to contain his anger, he punched the stepfather in the face. (Note that the flashback was foggy and he could not remember the details, such as Mu Cheng's identity) The flashback ends there and comes back to the present where Guang Xi and hits his client. Due to his actions, he was sentenced to 240-hours of community service. The community service he is mandated to do by the law board sends him to the same town that Mu Cheng and Xiao Le (Guang Xi's son) is living. There, he develops a bond and friendship with the mother and son. After he leaves, Xiao Le goes to Taipei to find "Uncle Guang Xi". He meets Guang Xi's mother coincidentally and picks up a document she dropped and followed her a long way just to return it to her. Due to not taking medication on time for his illness, diabetes, he faints and hurts himself. After sending him to the hospital, Mu Cheng is contacted and she, Guang Xi and Tuo Ye arrives at the hospital. When asked to donate blood for Xiao Xing, all three volunteers. However, Yi Qian says that you cannot donate your blood from to your own child. So, Tuo Ye and Guang Xi volunteers. Mu Cheng had a huge reaction when that happens and hurriedly blurts out that Guang Xi cannot donate his blood, thus revealing to Yi Qian that Guang Xi is the father of Xiao Xing. After Yi Qian operates on Xiao Le, she gives Guang Xi a wristband that contains photos of him and Mu Cheng in the past. The day before the wedding, Guang Xi sees a memory card of pictures of the two lovers. Guang Xi suddenly realizes that everything that everyone told him was lies and the memories begin to rush back. A strangely familiar piano piece stirs Guang Xi’s heart as he struggles to recall his past romance with Mu Cheng, which leads to him knowing about the true father of Xiao Le. He leads to the court to fight for Mu Cheng's friend's custody. How will the couple make up for six years of lost time?
