The Battell House is a historic house located at 293 Haverhill Street in Reading, Massachusetts. This 2.5 story wood frame house was built c. 1806, and exhibits conservative Georgian-Federal transitional features. The gable ends have no returns, and the second-floor windows are smaller than those on the first floor, and nearly touch the eaves. The door surround is Federal in style, although parts of it are a later addition. The house is also noted for its occupation by Charles P. Battell, an American Civil War veteran.[2]

The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.[1]
