Behtarabad (Persian: بهتراباد)[a] was a village in Gonbaki Rural District of Gonbaki District, Rigan County, Kerman province, Iran.
Demographics

[edit]At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 157 in 35 households, when it was in the former Rigan District of Bam County.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 191 people in 49 households,[2] by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Rigan County. The rural district was transferred to the new Gonbaki District.[5]
In 2011, the village of Mohammadabad-e Gonbaki merged with the villages of Abbasabad, Aliabad, Behtarabad, Dowlatabad, Hasanabad, and Jannatabad to become the city of Gonbaki.[6] In 2023, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Gonbaki County.[7]
