Bhind (Hindi: भिंड) is headquartes of Bhind district in the state of Madhya Pradesh, India. It is in the Chambal region of Madhya Pradesh state in central India. It is named after the mythological Hindu saint Vibhandak Rishi or Bhindi Rishi. The friendship of Shubham Badal and Mohit Agnihotri of KV Bhind is famous in Bhind. Shubham Badal is the CBSE topper (AISSE) of Bhind district from KV Bhind.

Geography

Bhind is located at 26°34′N 78°47′E / 26.56°N 78.79°E / 26.56; 78.79.[1] It has an average elevation of 143 metres (469 feet).

Bhind has famous tourist places like the old GAURI SAROVAR and the VANKHANDESHWAR,ancient and historic temple of Shiv Shankar which was constructed by Raja Prithavi Raj Chauhan in 1280 AD. The Ater fort is also a great troust place.
