Bloody Roar 4 is a fighting game developed by Eighting and Hudson Soft in 2003. It is the second game in the series to appear on the PlayStation 2 and the only game in the series to have received an M rating by ESRB due to the blood effects.
Gameplay
Like the previous games in the series, characters can transform into beasts during battle, using the beast gauge, slightly increasing their power. Unlike the other games, however, the beast gauge acts as its own separate health meter.
Plot
Nagi is stabbed to death by Xion. It was meant to be the fatal blow, but triggered a transformation into her Spurious form. Nagi is out to find Xion in hopes that he can change her back. Meanwhile, Xion is after Ryoho and Mana. He hopes to learn the secrets of the dragon zoanthrope to which they guard.
