Cardona, officially the Municipality of Cardona, (Tagalog: Bayan ng Cardona), is a 3rd class municipality in the province of Rizal, Philippines. According to the 2015 census, it has a population of 49,034 people.[3]

Cardona is in District 2 of Rizal.

With the continuous expansion of Metro Manila, the municipality is now part of Manila's conurbation which reaches Cardona in its easternmost part.

Cardona is politically subdivided into 18 barangays,[2] 11 of which are on the mainland and 7 on Talim Island.

In the 2015 census, the population of Cardona, Rizal, was 49,034 people,[3] with a density of 1,700 inhabitants per square kilometre or 4,400 inhabitants per square mile.
