Never got on the air

[edit]

Tele-Intercite was licensed circa 1974 for UHF stations in Montreal and Quebec City. There were several delays, and the CRTC revoked the approval in 1977 when the licensee proposed substantive changes to the service that were different from what was approved. I don't have all the details - I might at home still have a letter from a CRTC rep who answered my question about whatever became of Tele-Intercite - "painful death".
