"Deities" is inaccurate.
[edit]Most of these cultures don't consider these spirits to be gods or goddesses. Some of them find it really offensive to have their spirits referred to this way. That's why I started renaming some of these cats - to try to make them more accurate. Then I got overwhelmed and was waiting for others to help with the cleanup. I don't know when I'm going to have time to overhaul this, but it really needs to be done. - CorbieV ☊ ☼ 00:33, 2 March 2016 (UTC)
@Rathfelder: could you clarify what you're doing with these category changes[1]? - CorbieV ☊ ☼ 00:41, 2 March 2016 (UTC)
- I am just removing non-existent categories. Category:North American Spirit Beings didn't exist. I have no view on whether it should exist.Rathfelder (talk) 12:46, 2 March 2016 (UTC)
- CorbieVreccan Perhaps explain what you are renaming stuff to and we can help, the changes won't ping a watchlist unless the article is already there. So I for one, have no way to know what new categories you are creating. Perhaps just a rename of this one would help? Montanabw(talk) 22:28, 3 March 2016 (UTC)
