This environment-related category is part of the WikiProject Environment to improve Wikipedia's coverage of the environment. The aim is to write neutral and well-referenced articles on environment-related topics, as well as to ensure that environment articles are properly categorized.

Usage of this category[edit]

Some of the sub-categories under this category include subjects such as biota, geography, climate and energy. While these are part of "environment" in its widest sense I feel that we should give this category a somewhat narrower focus especially since it is a sub-cat of Category:Environment. With respect to the above subjects approp categories would be Category:Endangered species by country, Category:Climate change by country, and Category:Energy issues by country. -- Alan Liefting-talk- 07:20, 26 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
