Muser?

[edit]

Upon seeing this category added to Jannat Zubair Rahmani, an article about an Indian actress, my first question was "WTF is a muser?" Coming to the category to find out, I don't see any clear explanation of what that is supposed to mean or what qualifications are required for adding that category. Looking at the list of people currently flagged as "musers", I infer that we're talking about people who ramble into a camera and wax pseudophilosophical about life's mundanities and giant hair bows. Can we please get a description or something at the top of the category that makes the meaning of this word/modern concept clear? Also, do we usually create categories for neologisms or slang terms? This seems like a contravention of WP:NOTNEO, in spirit at least. @Störm: ? Regards, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 14:26, 15 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Cyphoidbomb: Creators of Musical.ly (now TikTok) are called musers. Like YouTube creators are called YouTubers. --CptViraj (Talk) 17:09, 5 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@CptViraj: Thanks for the response. That should probably be indicated on the category page. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 02:45, 6 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Cyphoidbomb: Hmm... I agree! --CptViraj (Talk) 02:49, 6 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
