There's already a category for Archbishops, why do we need another one for Roman Catholic archbishops

Because not all archbishops are Roman Catholic. Archbishops of Canterbury and York, for instance. —Ashley Y 04:54, 2005 Jun 15 (UTC)
The Archbishop of America also comes to mind. Gentgeen 3 July 2005 04:57 (UTC)

In response to the suggestion to merge with Archbishops

[edit]

Of course not. Not all archbishops are Catholic. Catholic archbishops are a subset of Archbishops. Bill 17:24, 18 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Scope

[edit]

The scope of this category should be clarified. Does it includes Eastern Catholic archbishops? It seems it doesn't include them. But the wikidata item linked covers both Eastern and Western/Roman/Latin Catholic archbishops.--Norrin_strange (Talk) 09:16, 9 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
