Regardless of SSB's stated intentions of not wanting to create a new cult and his teaching of the unity of all religions, it cannot be reasonably denied that he is the figurehead of a new religious movement and the figurehead of the Sathya Sai Organisation. Note that I do not mention him as a founder or leader because he may not be the de facto founder and leader. We cannot know what is going on inside the Sathya Sai Trust and the Sathya Sai Organisation. I heard that the lost all power to the members of the Sathya Sai Trust in the 1990s. SSB hasn't started a new religous movement. Writing that he is the leader of one is inserting a POV into the article. Kkrystian 21:05 16 November 2005 (UTC+1)

  • SSB's status as the figurehead of the Sathya Sai Organisation cannot be denied. His status as a religious leader has already given rise to various academic studies who treat him as the founder of a new religious movement. It is not POV when proper studies have been carried out, although that is not the topic of this particular page. This is just a category page. Ekantik 01:17, 17 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
