National science fiction

Do we have any discussion of the basis for national classification?

The sub-categories for science fiction novels, etc, are nested and compose a hierarchy only if there is a common sense in which science fiction, its novels and movies, its writers and illustrators, and so on, are national. --P64 (talk) 15:31, 7 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
