Crown v. Stevens is a 1936 British crime thriller film directed by Michael Powell. It was made as a quota quickie.[1]
Plot
An ex-dancer marries what she assumes to be a wealthy man. He instead turns out to be extremely poor. Owing a great deal of money herself, she contemplates cashing in on his life insurance.[2]
