Deborah C. "Deby" LaPlante (née Lansky, in second marriage Smith; born April 3, 1953) is a retired female track and field athlete from the United States, who competed in the hurdles event. She twice won a medal at the Pan American Games during her career. LaPlante set her personal best in the women's 100m hurdles event on June 16, 1979, clocking 12.86 in Walnut, California.
