Benwee Head (Irish: An Bhinn Bhuí, meaning "the yellow peak")[1] is a headland on the north coast of County Mayo, in the civil parish of Kilcommon. The cape, situated southward of the Stags of Broadhaven, consists of an imposing cliff overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The highest point is located at an altitude of 253.6 m above sea level.[2]
