Erick Inghatt Matsanza (12 April 1974) is a Kenyan Social Change Catalyst by passion and also an entrepreneurship mentor from the Luhya community.

Erick Inghatt Matsanza is the founder of Spice Without Bordersspicewithoutborders.org/history/ is a not for profit organization committed to equipping a new generation of sustainable business leaders through mentorship, training and networking. Spice Without Borders serves as a global leadership academy and incubator for social change innovation providing mentorship and one-on-one training that aims to nurture passions and develop entrepreneurs into socially responsible leaders that support the local economy. Spice Without Borders seeks to challenge discrimination through celebrating diversity, promoting equality, and embracing inclusion and therefore in its programs, it does not discriminate based on gender, ethnicity, race, colour, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, socio-economic status, disability or any other status.

Erick Inghatt Matsanza was born in 1974. He was born and raised in Lugari, Kenya and hails from the Luhya Luhya community

Career[edit]

Erick Inghatt Matsanza is a Social Change Catalyst (Activist) & a Social Entrepreneur. Matsanza is a 2014 trained Social Initiator at kanthari international is an educational and training institute at Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India. co-founded by Sabriye Tenberken and Paul Kronenberg in 2007, with the first members jointing in 2009, as an extension of their pioneering project Braille without borders.[1]

During his training, Matsanza volunteered at Video Volunteers an international NGO founded in 2003 that promotes community media to amplify citizen voice around the world. Video Volunteers is a registered non-profit in the state of New York in the US. Co-founded by Stalin K. as community media initiative Video Volunteers in 2013.[2][3] In 2018, allegations were made against him of inappropriate conduct at the workspace. In 2020, the charges were dismissed.[4]

Political journey[edit]

Matsanza is the Secretary for International Affairs National Agenda Party(NAP-K). He first contested for Member of County Assembly in 2007, to represent Marakusi Ward, Kenya
