}} Fayyaaz Ahmad Zarroo (Urdu: فیاض احمد زرو; is a Kashmiri Islamic Scholar and famous Social Reformer, who has waged a war against social evils, particularly Late marriages, divorces, dowry and atrocities against women.
Zarroo studied at Hanfiyyah Arabiyyah College, the University of Kashmir. He established Darul Uloom Muhammadiyyah in 1998. Since 2002 till 2019, he has been the editor of the English Islamic Journal of Darul Uloom Raheemiyyah Al-Noor[2]
Zarroo is considered as an authority in the field of Naming Muslim Childern, and Nikaah related issues
In 2002, Zarroo established an organization Islamic Dawah Centre to educate elite class of society viz Doctors, Engineers, Lawyers, Bureaucrats, Professors etc about the rulings of Islam pertaining to their respective field.
In 2005, Zarroo established Humsafar Marraige Counelling Cell to fight against social evils particularly late marriages,[3] divorces and domestic violence.[4]
