Avatar: The Last Airbender, also known as Avatar: The Legend of Aang, is an American animated fantasy action television series created by Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko and produced by Nickelodeon Animation Studio. The music of the series was composed by Jeremy Zuckerman and Benjamin Wynn, known together as the Track Team.

Composition

According to Bryan Konietzko, co-creator and executive producer of Avatar, Zuckerman and Wynn became involved with the series shortly after the completion of a test animation produced by Konietzko and Michael Dante DiMartino. The two developed the music and sound effects, which Konietzko claimed "laid the foundation" for their work in the rest of the series.[1] They also provided the music and sound effects for the series's unaired pilot episode, during which they improved their familiarity with the style used for the show.[2]
