Paper Empire is an American financial crime drama television series, created by Robert Gillings. It is set to be released in 2024.[1] Filming of the first two seasons commenced in 2018 in Florida[2], and in 2023 the show's third season began filming in Saudi Arabia[3]. All 10 episodes of the third season are to be hosted by Film AlUla and the Royal Commission for AlUla.[4] It is the first US television series to be produced in Saudi Arabia.[5]
Plot
[edit]The series follows Laurence Fintch (Robert Davi), a wealth management expert turned international financial fraudster, who tries to dominate the world of cryptocurrency and inadvertently induces global Financial Armageddon.
