Tom Draper (born December 31 1982) is a British Musician who currently plays guitar with Spirit Adrift, Pounder and Hands of Goro.[1]
Draper spent his formative years playing in both cover bands and unsigned original bands in London and Sheffield, before joining Angel Witch as their live guitarist between 2013-2015.[2]
After moving from the UK to California in 2014, Draper joined Pounder featuring Matt Harvey of Exhumed (band), recording several albums and EPs[3] with the group and performing at numerous West Coast music festivals including Decibel Metal and Beer Festival LA 2018.
In March 2018 Draper was asked by Bill Steer to join Carcass as their live guitar player[4], and performed with the band between 2018-2020 in over twenty different countries, at major rock festivals including Download, Graspop and Hellfest.
In early 2022 Draper contributed guest lead guitar parts to the Hammers of Misfortune album "Overtaker", specifically on the song "Overthrower".
In 2022 Draper joined Spirit Adrift, and between several US tours recorded lead guitar on their 2023 album "Ghost at the Gallows"[5], also appearing in the music videos for "Hanged Man's Revenge" and "Barn Burner".
In January 2024, Hands of Goro announced the release of their eponymous debut album, a collaboration between Draper, Adrian Maestas of Slough Feg and Avinash Mittur of Nite.[6]
