Ysgol Dewi Sant (or Ysgol Gynradd Gymraeg Dewi Sant) is a Welsh medium primary school located on the former site of Ysgol Glan Clwyd in Rhyl, Denbighshire, Wales. The school offers education for Nursery and Reception Students, Year 1, Year 2, Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 pupils.[1]

Present[edit]

Ysgol Dewi Sant's building is the former building of Ysgol Glan Clwyd . Since the school was opened, the building had been expanded twice. The first extension was a medium sized hall with a stage, theatre lighting equipment and a seating area for visitors. The second extension was the stairway, Female and Male toilets and a locker room for the Year 5 and the Year 6 pupils. The building had also recieved a refurbishment in late 2023 with new paintwork, a newer and more modern interior and a new roof.

High School[edit]

Most of the school's Year 6 pupils decide to continue their education in Ysgol Glan Clwyd as the school's s one of many of the Feeder Schools in the Ysgol Glan Clwyd Cluster. However, students may not want their education or their parents may not want their child's High School education in Ysgol Glan Clwyd. If this is the case they may apply for their education to be provided by: Rhyl High School, Prestatyn High School or Denbigh High School[2]
