History

The Company was started in 2010 by two former rugby players Matt Weingart and Brian McKenzie. The two seasoned lifelong rugby players competed at the highest levels of their sport career in all kinds of wet, sloppy and cold weather. After retiring, the two put together an idea to create the a product which would allow athletes to keep their feet warm, dry and comfortable at all times during the games. After several years of experimentation, the company has come up with an exterior shoe product called DRYFEET that is rolled over soccer, football or rugby boots and significantly reduces the weight of the shoes during wet and cold conditions during games and training.[2] The core of DRYWORLD's innovation and philosophy was just to stay DRY. Hence the line of products DryFeet was born. The Company has since produced several lines of clothing, such as HauteD, Agression, BioSkyn Apparel and Barefuta. In 2016 the Company has signed several deals with prominent Brazilian football clubs, such as Atletico Mineiro and Fluminense and have acquired four manufacturing factories in Brazil with the reputation of producing the best quality sports apparel in Brazil.

Sponsorship

In 2016 it was announced that Dryworld has reached the deal to sponsor Brazilian soccer clubs Fluminense, Goiás and Atlético Mineiro. Goiás was the first club to officially present the kit and wear it during competitive games. On 3 February 2016, Santa Cruz have also announced their partnership with Dryworld, although this information is yet to be confirmed by the company.[3]
