Template:Infobox Paralympics El Salvador El Salvador made its Paralympic Games début at the 2000 Summer Paralympics in Sydney, with wheelchair sprinter Claudia Marina Palacios as its sole representative. Entering the 400m race in the T54 category, Palacios finished 4th and last in her heat, which ended her participation in the Games. The country sent two athletes to the Paralympics in 2004, and just one again in 2008. El Salvador has never taken part in the Winter Paralympics, and no Salvadorian has ever won a Paralympic medal.[1]
