In 2003, Clint Eastwood and Warner Bros. bought the film rights to the Neil Armstrong biography First Man: The Life of Neil A. Armstrong written by James R. Hansen.[7] Universal Pictures bought the rights later and planned to make a film of the book, with title First Man.[8]
