Santa Fe Railroad Station, home to the Galveston RR Museum

The Galveston Railroad Museum is a railroad museum owned and operated by the Center for Transportation and Commerce, a non-profit organization. The museum was established with funds from Galveston businesswoman and philanthropist Mary Moody Northen and the Moody Foundation.[1]

The museum is located at 25th and Strand in Galveston, Texas. It is housed in the former Santa Fe Railroad station, at the head of The Strand.

The museum was damaged during Hurricane Ike, but has since reopened.
