Ghazni University ([د غزني پوهنتون] Error: {{Lang-xx}}: text has italic markup (help); Dari: دانشگاه غزنی) is a newly established university in Ghazni, a city in central Afghanistan. The university now has 250 students, but will be expanded to 500. Ahmad Shah Rafiqi is the rector of the university. Ghazni University is supported by the local Polish Provincial Reconstruction Team. The Polish have provided over 250 books for the students to learn English, and is cooperating with the university to provide teaching material for agriculture and technical science.[1] U.S. Army Agricultural Development Teams have also formed relationships with the university.[2]
