Gopalbad is an Indian village within the Sarmera Block of Nalanda district of the Indian state of Bihar. Nearby cities include Sarmera (6 km), Barbigha (10 km), Sheikhpura (26 km), Bihar Sarif (35 km), Barh (21 km) and Mokara (35 km).[1] The population of the village of Gopalbad is approximately 3500.[citation needed] Agriculture is Gopalbad's main industry.[2]
