Haines Falls is a quiet hamlet located east of Tannersville, NY in the Town of Hunter, in Greene County, State of New York. [1] The total population of Haines Falls is unknown but is estimated to be less than 400. Haines Falls is located at 42°11′45″N 74°5′49″W / 42.19583°N 74.09694°W / 42.19583; -74.09694Invalid arguments have been passed to the {{#coordinates:}} function Template:GR.


Roadways

Major therofares in Haines Falls include St. Rt. 23A, Clum Hill Road, North Lake Road, and Ct. Rt. 25. Horseshoe Bend is the location of many vehicle accidents and hikers who tumble off the falls.


Businesses

Local businesses include Stewart's, Selena's Diner and Absolute Towing, a combination towing/firewood/baby barn corporation. Many retired men can be found loitering at these locations.
