"Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger"
Song

"Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" is a song by French duo Daft Punk released as a single on October 13, 2001. As part of the album Discovery, the song appears in the film Interstella 5555. A live version of "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" will be released as a single from the album Alive 2007.[1]

Structure

"Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" features a robotic vocal performance by Daft Punk. As documented in the Discovery liner notes, the song also contains a sample of "Cola Bottle Baby" by Edwin Birdsong (mp3 clip).

Kanye West's 2007 song "Stronger" from the album Graduation uses a sample from "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger". Actors dressed in the robotic Daft Punk costumes make an appearance in the music video for "Stronger".[1]

A live version of "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" was recorded at Bercy in Paris from June 14 2007. It will be released as a single for the live album Alive 2007 along with a music video directed by Oliver Gondry. The video contains footage shot by the audience at Daft Punk's Brooklyn performance at KeySpan Park.[1]
