Himalayan Queen is a 3 Daily Intercity Mail/Express Train of the Indian Railways, running between Delhi Sarai Rohilla, Delhi, the capital city of India, and Kalka, the gateway to Himalaya in Haryana for about 305 kilometres (190 mi). The train have Slip Service named Ekta Express which run from Bhivani to Kalka, attach/detach at Panipat Junction.

Number and Nomenclature

The train numbers of the Himalayan Queen are:

  • 14095UP: From Delhi Sarai Rohilla to Kalka
  • 14096DN: From Kalka to Delhi Sarai Rohilla

Rolling stock

The services utilizes WAP-4 between Delhi Sarai Rohilla - Kalka and WDM-3A between Bhiwani - Panipat. This Train used to source & from/at Hazrat Nizamuddin but shifted to Delhi Sarai Rohilla to overcome Rake Maintenance issues.
