Imaginary Mary is an upcoming American live-action/CGI-animated hybrid fantasy sitcom television series that will debut as a midseason entry in the 2016–2017 television season on ABC. Created and executive produced by Adam F. Goldberg, David Guarascio, and Patrick Osborne, the Sony Pictures Television/Happy Madison Productions/ABC Studios co-production was greenlighted to series order on May 12, 2016.[1] A first-look-trailer was released on the same day.[2] ABC reduced the number of episodes from thirteen to nine on September 28, 2016.[3]

Details

The series follows what happens when an imaginary and fictitious being named Mary reappears in front of her now grown-up creator from her childhood, a single public relations executive who has fallen in love with a single father of three children, in the hopes to guide (or misguide) her.
