Jobner is a city and a municipality in Jaipur district in the Indian state of Rajasthan.

Geography

Jobner is located at 26°58′N 75°23′E / 26.97°N 75.38°E / 26.97; 75.38.^[1] It has an average elevation of 400 metres (1312 feet).

Jobner is about 35 km west of Jaipur.

Demographics

At the 2001 India census,^[2] Jobner had a population of 55,496. Males constituted 52% of the population and females 48%. Jobner had an average literacy rate of 64%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy was 75%, female literacy 51%. In Jobner, 16% of the population were under 6 years of age.
