Kelly Mittendorf (born June 14, 1994) is an American fashion model living in New York[2] known for her work with fashion and beauty brands like Prada, Kate Spade, and NARS Cosmetics.

Early life

Mittendorf was born and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona. She was discovered by a local scout. She signed with The Agency Arizona at age 14 who continues to manage Mittendorf as her lead agency.[3]

Career

Mittendorf debuted in the Fall 2011/2012 advertising campaigns for Prada, and quickly followed it up with runway appearances for Anna Sui, Giles, Loewe, Mulberry, Topshop, and most notably closing the Spring 2012 Marc Jacobs show.[4]

Mittendorf has been featured in magazines including Vogue (Britain, Russia, Turkey, Japan), Vogue Italia, Marie Claire (USA, China, Hong Kong), i-D, L'Officiel, Harper's Bazaar (Thailand, China), Love, Dazed & Confused, V Magazine, Elle (Mexico, Malaysia) and has worked with photographers such as Steven Meisel, Ellen von Unwerth, and Terry Richardson.

Personal life

Mittendorf describes herself as an advocate of models' rights and regularly discusses the topic publicly as well as on her personal Tumblr page. She has two Great Danes, her favorite song is "Come on Eileen" by Dexy's Midnight Runners.[5][6]

She is currently studying mass communication and media studies at Arizona State University.
