Kharba is a small town and a former assembly constituency in Malda district in the Indian state of West Bengal.[1] The town is located on the western banks of the Mahananda River. The Raiganj Bird Sanctuary is a nearby tourist attraction.[2]

Geography

Kharba is located at 25°25′N 88°04′E / 25.42°N 88.07°E / 25.42; 88.07.[3] It has an average elevation of 29 m (95 ft).

Administration

Kharba is a village panchayat under Chanchal I intermediate panchayat in Malda district.:[4]
