King Liar is a 2016 Indian Malayalam-language comedy film written by Siddique-Lal and directed by Lal from the duo. It stars Dileep and Madonna Sebastian in the lead roles. Produced by Ousepachan Valakuzhy under his production Ousepachan Movie House. The soundtrack and score are composed by Alex Paul and Deepak Dev. The film released on 2 April 2016.[4]

Production
Principal photography commenced at Kochi on 21 October 2015.[7] The film was shot in Kuttanad and Dubai.[5]
Release
King Liar released on 2 April 2016 in 127 screens in Kerala.[8]
Box office
The film collected ₹1.52 crore (US$180,000) in the opening day and ₹5.32 crore within the first 4 days at the Kerala box office.[9] Making a share of ₹2.35 crore in 4 days.[10] It collected ₹96 lakh in the fifth day, making it ₹6.28 crore and ₹8.56 crore gross collection in 8 days, thus making a share amount of ₹4.05 crore.[9] The film grossed ₹12.73 crore after 15 days and continued in 80 screens in its third week.[11] The film collected ₹23 crore in a month from the Kerala box office.[12]
