Kristin Elizabeth Cavallari (born January 14, 1987 in Denver, Colorado) is an American actress, known mainly for her leading role on the MTV reality TV series Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County.
Personal life
In September 2005, Cavallari confirmed her relationship with Princes of Malibu star Brody Jenner, although the two mutually parted ways in February 2006. There were widespread rumours that Cavallari had a brief romance with Nick Lachey, however the two claim just to be friends.
Career
Cavallari was one of several teenagers who had their lives captured on the reality TV show. As she progressed from a high school junior in the first season to a school-ruling senior in the second season of the show, her part got bigger and bigger. The show was promoted as the "real-life" version of the Fox TV series The O.C.; which is a fictional program, also set in the wealthy coastal county of Orange County, California. Over time, Cavallari has become one of the more prominent members of the show.
She has appeared on the front cover of several magazines, including Maxim, who awarded her #23 on its annual Hot 100 list, and Seventeen. Cavallari recently co-hosted UPN's Get This Party Started, which was cancelled after just two episodes[1]. Kristen has also guest starred on UPN's Veronica Mars as a lesbian cheerleader in the episode "Versatile Toppings".
She has recently appeared in a music video for Teddy Geiger's single "For You I Will (Confidence)." She plays the girl that Geiger has feelings for, despite her popularity and boyfriend. In the end, she ends up with Geiger. She was considered for the part of Daisy Duke in the prequel for 2005's The Dukes of Hazzard film.
Cavallari is currently filming the movie Fingerprints.
