Randell "Kydd" Jones is an American hiphop/R&B artist from Austin, Texas.[1][2]
Career
In 2013, Kydd performed alongside acts such as Snoop Dogg,[3] Curren$y[4] & Killa Kyleon.[5] Jones performed at NXNE[6] and The Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival[7] in 2014 as well as Red Bull Sound Select[8] shows with Danny Brown[9] & Yung Lean[10] while producing for Kirko Bangz[11] on Progression V.[12] During 2015, he released two singles: Patience[13] and Blink Away[14] with Sean Price; he also performed with Nicki Minaj and Justin Bieber[15] for the Billboard Hot 100 Fest at Jones Beach Theater.[16] After being personally picked by Chuck D to open for The Hip Hop Gods Tour in Los Angeles at The Novo (formerly Club Nokia),[17] Kydd opened for The Art Of Rap Fest[18] with Public Enemy, Ice-T, Naughty By Nature, Mobb Deep & EPMD at the Lakewood Amphitheatre in Atlanta during 2016.[19] He released Sounds In My Head 2: The Righteous Edition later that year with features from Skyzoo,[20] Yelawolf,[21] Pac Div,[22] A.Dd+,[23] Cory Kendrix, Max Frost, GLC & Tank Washington.[24] In 2018, Kydd released an album entitled Homecoming[25], an EP with producer Insightful[26] of Soulection, and is scheduled to perform at Austin City Limits Festival 2018 with acts like Paul McCartney, Metallica, Childish Gambino, Travis Scott, Khalid & others.[27]
