Lion Heart is the fifth full-length Korean studio album (eighth overall) by South Korean girl group Girls' Generation. It was released by S.M. Entertainment on August 19, 2015. It's their first album since the departure of group member Jessica. Album was promoted with a tour and three singles: "Party" on July 7, album's title track on August 18 and "You Think" on August 19. Part 1 of the album was released on August 18, and Part 2 following day.

Release history

Lion Heart has 12 tracks. The album was released for online distribution in two parts: the first six songs, including the first title track "Lion Heart", were released on August 18, while the remaining six songs, including the second title track, "You Think", were released on August 19, 2015.[1][2] The physical album was released in two versions: "Lion Heart" on August 19 & "You Think" on August 25, 2015.[3] The album was preceded with the release of its first official single, "Party", in July 2015.[4]

Promotions

Following the release of the album, Girls' Generation performed "Lion Heart" and "You Think" on several major Korean music shows such as: KBS's Music Bank, MBC's Show! Music Core, and SBS' Inkigayo.[5] During August 18–25, the group also participated and interacted with viewers through a series of mobile video live stream on Naver’s “V” phone application.[6]

The album was promoted with the tour Girls' Generation's Phantasia, kick off on November 21st, 2015 in Olympic Gymnastics Arena, Seoul, South Korea, and continued in Japan and Thailand.
