Since the A-League's inception in 2005, 12 players have accrued 200 or more appearances.

The first player to meet the landmark was Matt Thompson with Newcastle Jets in 2013.[1] Thompson was overtaken by John Hutchinson of the Central Coast Mariners in 2015.[2] The current record-holder is goalkeeper Danny Vukovic, overtaking Hutchinson in October 2015.[3] Vukovic has now made 250 appearances.[4]
