  1. ^ Certain award groups do not simply award one winner. They acknowledge several different recipients, have runners-up, and have third place. Since this is a specific recognition and is different from losing an award, runner-up mentions are considered wins in this award tally. For simplification and to avoid errors, each award in this list has been presumed to have had a prior nomination.

American singer-songwriter Kesha has sold approximately 59 million records worldwide as of May 2014.[1] As of March 2016, the singer has sold 2.47 million albums and 36.3M songs in the United States.[2] That said, she topped eight charts on the 2010 Billboard Year-End Chart, including Top New Artists, Hot 100 Songs and Hot 100 Artists.[3]

Having been nominated for over 50 awards, Kesha has been nominated for three American Music Awards, five MTV Video Music Awards, and three MTV Europe Music Awards, winning the award for MTV Europe Music Award for Best New Act in 2010.
