Lodovica Comello (San Daniele del Friuli, Italy; born April 13, 1990) is an Italian actress, singer and dancer and is the co protagonist in the Disney series Violetta.[1][2]
Life and career
Born in San Daniele del Friuli, Italy, Comello demonstrated her passion for art taking acting, dance, guitar lessons from a very young age. Comello was in the Patito Feo Tour Il Mondo di Patty in Italy and Spain[3] as well she was part as a back-up vocalist in the Brenda Asnicar Tour.[4] She currently lives between Buenos Aires and Italy due to the recordings of Violetta, the first co-production between Disney Channel Latin America, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Pol-Ka Producciones. Violetta is her first participation in multinational television. Comello is fluent in both Italian, Spanish, and English.
Violetta
In 2011, Lodovica was revealed to play Francesca in the Latin American series Violetta.[5] In the series, she plays Francesca, a smart, dedicated girl and good friend. Her friends are Maxi and Camilla. She is aware of the effort made by her family to go to Studio 21. At first she's jealous of Violetta, but they end up being best friends.
In November 2012, she began recording the second season with the rest of the cast, which premiered on April 29, 2013.
Debut album
On November 1, 2013, Comello released Universo, the lead single from her upcoming debut album of the same name, which is set to be released on November 19 in Italy, Spain and Argentina. She also plans a tour in 2014 to promote the album.
