  • curprev 19:1219:12, 20 June 2022Clinocio talk contribsm 17,958 bytes +550 The US Marine Corp in the Pacific used the 1941 Johnson, not the Army. The total number produced was around 23,000 and not 70,000. The serial numbers of both rifles and machine guns had 4 digits with or without a prefix and the only prefixes were A or B. This means there could not have been more than 30,000 total or there would be serial numbers with other letter prefixes and none have been identified. This 30,000 limit includes rifles and LMGs. undo
