Mariusz Kamiński (born September 25, 1965 in Sochaczew) was the head of the Central Anticorruption Bureau (CBA) in Poland until October 2009. Earlier he was a member of the Sejm elected on September 25, 2005 getting 9142 votes in 19 Warsaw district, as a candidate on the Law and Justice list.

He was also a member of Sejm 1997-2001 and Sejm 2001-2005.

Kamiński was dismissed (as the head of CBA) on 13 October 2009 by prime minister Donald Tusk.[citation needed]

Kaminski was sentenced to three years in prison for abuse of power in March 2015 but had appealed. After the Polish parliamentary election, 2015 the Polish President Andrzej Duda pardoned Kamiński, the President's spokesmen argued that people who fight corruption "deserve special protection." Afterwards Kaminski became the head of the secret services.[1]
