Minister of Finance (Hungary)
The Minister of National Economy of Hungary (Template:Lang-hu) is a member of the Hungarian cabinet and the head of the Ministry of National Economy. The current minister of national economy is Mihály Varga.
The position was called Minister of Finance (Template:Lang-hu) from 1848 to 2010, with the exception of a short period in 1919, when it was known as People's Commissar of Finance (Template:Lang-hu) during the Hungarian Soviet Republic.

After the collapse of the Hungarian Revolution of 1848, the Hungarian Kingdom became an integral part of the Austrian Empire until 1867, when dual Austro-Hungarian Monarchy was created.
