The fourth season of the My Hero Academia anime series was produced by Bones and directed by Kenji Nagasaki. The fourth season premiered on October 12, 2019 on ytv.[1] Funimation has licensed the season for an English-language release in North America.[2] Funimation's adaptation premiered on Adult Swim's Toonami block on November 9, 2019.[3]

Two pieces of theme music are used for this season: one opening theme and one ending themes. The opening theme is "Polaris" (ポラリス) by Blue Encount, while the ending theme is "Kōkai no Uta" (航海の唄) by Sayuri.[4]

Home video release

Japanese

Toho will release the fourth season of the anime on DVD and Blu-ray in six volumes in Japan, with the first volume being scheduled for January 22, 2020, and the final volume being scheduled for June 17, 2020.[14]
