Nalanda [Boys] Central College - Minuwangoda Sinhala: නාලන්දා (පිරිමි) මධ්‍ය විද්‍යාලය, මිනුවන්ගොඩ was the fourth central college in Sri Lanka, according to a concept of C. W. W. Kannangara. Nalanda College - Minuwangoda is a government Buddhist school in Sri Lanka, and was founded in 1912.

History

During Second World War in 1939 one part of Nalanda College, Colombo was taken to Minuwangoda and other part to Maharagama. After the end of the war it was replaced at the original place again and Minuwangoda Nalanda Maha Vidyalaya Sinhala: මිනුවන්ගොඩ නාලන්දා මධ්‍ය විද්‍යාලය started with the guidance of Venerable Heenatiyana Dhammaloka Thero[1].

Alumni

The Minuwangoda Nalanda Central College All Boys Association is the alumni association of the school.[2]
